There's a $30M Cannabis Tech Fund called 7thirty Opportunity Fund which focuses on cannabis technologies in 3 primary locations:Â
US
Canada
IsraelÂ
Cannabis is illegal in Nigeria but the numbers say that we are one of the largest producing countries.
So why aren't we monetising it? Moral concerns? Lazy control/regulation?Â
Some stats to consider:Â
Lesotho is Africa's first to offer legal licenses to grow marijuana.
Uganda has landed deals to export medical marijuana products to Canada and Germany to the tune of $160M. Recreational use is still illegal IN the country.Â
Zimbabwe is one of the first to legalise the production of marijuana for scientific and medicinal use.Â
Shouldn't regulatory frameworks governing cannabis exportation to approved countries be explored?Â
Can't we make money by meeting a demand while we sort out our internal "moral" issues? For context, here's a host of good that marijuana does.
Governor Akeredolu should be left alone to test out this exportation thesis - in my opinion.Â
Oil is running out.Â
This should be about business, not about getting high on our own supply.

Yogababble- This is a NYU professor, you know? đđđ Prof. Galloway is one funny character. He trashes WeWork and Uber so much, canât stop laughing. And heâs super against Amazon but not shy to say he owns stock. I love it.
Gabon will be paid by Norway to preserve its forests: But where is this money going? The man deep in the jungle whoâs making his living from being a timber trader really doesnât care about this deal because he gets nothing from it. Maybe theyâd quit exporting?Â
Africaâs tourism industry is now the second fastest growing in the world: Year of return init.
The Amazon of Africa really isnât a tech âunicornâ anymore: These youths really fumbled the bag on this one. Stock price really went down in the dumps. SMH. Bad for business.Â
Meet the mastermind investing fast foodâs craziest menu items (Cheetos mozzarella stick, anyone?): NGL some of this stuff looks really good lol. But full of sickness :(Â
Cameroon: BollorĂ© sought Biyaâs influence over Doula port concession: Are we sure African countries are independent? Because from whatâs been happening in IC to Gabon to Eq. Guinea, Iâm not too sure.
Thinking Ladder: I really think everyone should read this. I might start ranking these articles. I know itâs long form and not too many people like reading long essays, but Tim is actually a very *beep* good writer.Â
Podcastâ What Iâm listening to (1 podcast episode a day x 7 days x 4 weeks x 12 months = 336 podcast episodes). Broadening my experiences through othersâ stories.Â
