Where to spend your time
I was going to write about something else, but this popped up and I just had to get it out today. I read one of Tim’s articles, The Tail End, some time back and this part just kept nagging me. We’re living finite lives…at some point, everything would come to and end and we need to figure out what really matters to us, our purpose and figure out how we’re going to get there. Remember that no one is going to be here forever. Spend time and do things with people that matter. Your quality of life will go up.

From Tim Urban’s post titled “The Tail End”
1) Living in the same place as the people you love matters. I probably have 10X the time left with the people who live in my city as I do with the people who live somewhere else.
2) Priorities matter. Your remaining face time with any person depends largely on where that person falls on your list of life priorities. Make sure this list is set by you—not by unconscious inertia.
3) Quality time matters. If you’re in your last 10% of time with someone you love, keep that fact in the front of your mind when you’re with them and treat that time as what it actually is: precious.
Plus Leclerc is on fire right now. 🔥🔥🔥Whew! Any Formula 1, anyone?

A newly-minted Indian VC takes an honest, hard-nosed look at his industry: “Couldn’t read because of paywall, so please, if you have Qz membership, send my way. But pretty eye-catching title.”

Still on Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future. Another couple of chapters done. Still haven’t learnt anything new. I feel like I know this man.
